About Tashmina
Tashmina Hoque is a dynamic and strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in the charitable sector. As the Director of the COSARAF Charitable Foundation, she leads initiatives to empower women, enable young people, and build sustainable communities across the UK and internationally.
A Hertfordshire native, Tashmina began her career developing and expanding children’s services for a North Hertfordshire-based charity, including a high-impact mentoring project. She has extensive knowledge of the charity sector, having collaborated with leading organisations as Head of External Relations at Pro-Action. Her corporate experience includes serving as Head of Membership at the Management Consultancies Association and launching a successful online community for diverse young learners in the FastFutures programme at Avado Learning as their Community Manager.
Tashmina’s career reflects her dedication to meaningful social impact, with a history of leadership roles in key charitable organisations. Her innovative work includes launching programs for young learners and collaborating with diverse communities to support growth and development. Her appointment as Director of the COSARAF Foundation marks an exciting new chapter for the charity as it continues its work supporting disadvantaged communities through major grants and strategic partnerships across Africa, Asia, and the UK.
