Successful Completion of Hayderabad Mosque Renovation: A Beacon for the Community

The Sheikh Abdul Rashid Mosque, named in memory of the late Sheikh family patriarch, located in Village Masoo Bhurgri, Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, has been successfully renovated, marking a significant milestone for the local community. Led by Mehran Welfare Trust, the six-month project aimed to provide a much-needed space for worship, education, and community bonding in one of the province’s most underprivileged areas.

The newly refurbished mosque is now a sanctuary for 400 daily worshippers, designed to foster spiritual rejuvenation and social cohesion. Beyond its primary role as a place for daily prayers, the mosque will serve as a hub for Islamic teachings and community activities, promoting unity and cultural understanding.

The project’s success underscores the power of collaboration, with strong local engagement and meticulous monitoring ensuring timely delivery. It stands as a testament to the community’s resilience and the critical role of infrastructure in uplifting underserved areas.

This renovation is more than a construction milestone—it represents hope and progress for generations to come. The COSARAF Foundation commends such initiatives that enrich lives and strengthen communities.
