Last month, rising journalist Momoudou Musa Touray, a Sheikh Family Scholar supported by the COSARAF Foundation, was honored with the prestigious Headlinemoney Rising Star B2B Journalist Award. Momodou expressed immense gratitude for the recognition by Headlinemoney, highlighting the personal significance of the award after a challenging year marked by the loss of both his parents. The award was dedicated to the journalist’s late mother and father with heartfelt love.
Momodou emphasized the collaborative effort behind this achievement, extending thanks to several key figures and organizations. The COSARAF Foundation was acknowledged for its pivotal role in supporting the his education, which laid the foundation for this success.
Special thanks were given to Katey Pigden, a former editor who recognized and nurtured Momodou’s potential, and to Michael (Miša) Klimeš, a former news editor, for his unwavering support and encouragement.
