The COSARAF Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Tashmina Hoque as the new Director. With over 20 years of experience in the charitable sector, Tashmina has dedicated her career to empowering communities, particularly focusing on young people.
Her leadership at the COSARAF Foundation follows Jonathan Freeman’s departure, who was instrumental in setting up the Foundation as we see it today. Tashmina’s diverse background, including roles in external relations and community development, positions her to lead COSARAF’s efforts.
Having previously served as the Foundation Manager, Tashmina will now lead COSARAF’s mission to empower women, enable young people, and build sustainable communities across the UK and internationally.
Tashmina’s career reflects her dedication to meaningful social impact, with a history of leadership roles in key charitable organisations. Her innovative work includes launching programs for young learners and collaborating with diverse communities to support growth and development. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Foundation, as it continues its work supporting disadvantaged communities through major grants and strategic partnerships across Africa, Asia, and the UK.
The COSARAF Foundation, established in 2007 by the Sheikh family, remains committed to its mission of fostering positive change and creating opportunities for those in need. With Tashmina at the helm, the Foundation looks forward to building on its legacy of success.
