The COSARAF Foundation Renews 3-Year Partnership for the King’s Trust International: Enterprise Challenge Pakistan
We’re thrilled to announce the renewal of our 3-year funding partnership for the Enterprise Challenge Pakistan (ECP), a flagship initiative of The King’s Trust International, in collaboration with SEED Ventures. The project, aimed at empowering Pakistani youth, will continue through 2027 with a £50,000 grant to foster entrepreneurship and essential skills among young people aged 14-18 across the country.
Transforming Lives Through Enterprise Education
Since its inception in 2016, ECP has reached over 6,000 students and provided vital business training, life skills, and digital literacy. The program uses an innovative curriculum blending game-based learning and mentorship, culminating in a national competition where students pitch business ideas to esteemed judges. Recent years have seen impressive growth, with 2,233 young participants in the 2023-2024 cycle alone, including the first inclusion of a school for deaf students, our partner Family Educational Services Foundation, and their Deaf Reach school.
A Focus on Community Impact
The program addresses critical issues such as youth unemployment and the lack of entrepreneurial role models in underserved regions of Pakistan. With 64% of Pakistan’s population under 30 and youth unemployment rates at an all-time high, ECP aims to build confidence, enhance employability, and promote sustainable entrepreneurship in marginalised communities.
Shared Vision for Sustainability
Our renewed commitment reflects our dedication to fostering meaningful, lasting change. Together with King’s Trust International and SEED Ventures, the project is designed to not only deliver immediate benefits but also ensure its sustainability by cultivating local partnerships and developing a robust support network.
This renewed partnership reaffirms our mission to empower communities and create opportunities for youth to thrive. We look forward to witnessing the continued success of the Enterprise Challenge Pakistan and its transformative impact on the next generation of changemakers.
