Riyad Ahmed

Riyad is currently studying Materials Science, and plans to work in sustainable technology, particularly in photovoltaics.
With a passion to find alternatives to existing energy sources, he hopes to contribute to the development of efficient, affordable solar technologies to mitigate the effects of global warming.
Alongside his academic pursuits, as a COSARAF Scholar, Riyad is committed to supporting the Muslim community through charitable work and volunteering. Having already been involved in various initiatives such as Charity Week, he seeks to use his skills and knowledge to empower others and drive meaningful change.
Through the COSARAF programme, Riyad aim to utilise his multifaceted background to bridge cutting-edge scientific advancements and real-world impact.
