We are proud to announce our support for Migrant Help, a charity dedicated to assisting displaced individuals and victims of exploitation. Through a generous donation, we are funding items to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of Muslim clients supported by Migrant Help.
Migrant Help works tirelessly to protect vulnerable individuals, offering services such as advice for asylum seekers, safe accommodation, and access to critical support. The organisation’s vision for a society that respects and enables survivors of exploitation to thrive aligns closely with COSARAF’s mission to empower communities and support those in need.
This partnership will provide essential prayer mats to supporting spiritual practices and scarves for women to cater to their needs.
The initiative addresses the needs of many Muslim asylum seekers in the West Midlands, where many lack the resources to acquire these items due to financial constraints.
Making a Difference
Sameera, Senior Community Liaison Coordinator at Migrant Help, emphasised the impact of this program: “When I provide a Quran or prayer mat, the gratitude and smiles are overwhelming. These small gestures bring inner peace to individuals navigating incredibly challenging circumstances.”
COSARAF’s donation will ensure that these clients, many of whom have no income while awaiting asylum decisions, can observe their faith with dignity and ease.
