An interesting and insightful read into the impact and evaluation of the Diversity Day programmes 23/24 delivered by Naz Legacy, in partnership with University of Warwick, St Anne’s College, Oxford and Downing College, Cambridge.
Each of the Diversity Days were held at a separate higher education institute at which the COSARAF Foundation also funds the Sheikh Family Scholarships programme. Approximately 40 different children and young people attended each day, from schools in London, all from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
Only 6% of attendees had ever visited a university before and as a result of the trip 94% of them felt they were better informed about university as an option post secondary school.
