Johura is 55 years old. She cares for her disabled husband and they have four sons. Johura sustains her family by growing and selling vegetables, but the land is not very fertile and they struggle financially. When she is unwell she has not been able to afford treatment.
Through the health camp as part of COSARAF’s Ramadan Fund, Johura has been able to see a doctor and get the therapy and medication she needs. “I normally can’t see a doctor because the cost of treatment and medicine is high, but getting free medical care here is very beneficial for me.”
